The following statements as provided by the Company ‘Sugarcane Coffee and Tea’, under the trademark Sugarcane Coffee and Tea™, and the registered trademark Sugarcane Coffee and Tea®, are a binding agreement between the Company and the User. The statements are provided within the Privacy Policy as well as Terms and Conditions, extend for all activities of the Company regarding its online activity or any online activity of the User on the Site – or website – located at sugarcanecoffee.com, and online activities related to the Site, its affiliates, agents, employees, and other representatives of the Company. Online activities of employees or third parties are only viable if the individual or entity represents the Company at that particular time and place, and do not apply for personal online activities of employees, agents, entities, or third parties. All statements are binding forthwith and hereafter, and apply in perpetuity to all agreeing parties until agreement is explicitly denied via either a disclaimer or a written contract that would otherwise determine deniability from the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. The User, in an event denies the following terms or statements, can only do so once all orders, payments and ongoing services are cleared and provided in full. Once the User dines contractual agreement, the User forgoes any right to a refund, any right to being provided customer service, and any and all assistance regarding the products, as well as their probable risk of use.

Privacy Policy – Agreement Clause

By continuing to use the Site, the User agrees to the Privacy Policy provided on the Site in full, and agrees to all statements regarding data collection, analyzation, and distribution. If the User does not wish to agree to the Privacy Policy, the only remaining course of action is to immediately cease any further use of the Site.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Company reserves the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy without any prior notice, nor is it responsible to ensure that the User has viewed the changes. However, any changes, once implemented, will be given a grace period of 14 days (two weeks) for any remaining deliveries to be completed, orders to be cleared, and the User to be given time to understand and read the revised terms. If the User has an order underway, or request access to information within this grace period, then the new Privacy Policy terms will apply if the order cannot be completed within the grace period. If the order can be shipped within the 14-day gap, the legacy terms will still be in effect. However, any subsequent service offered, such as assistance with the product, will be handled via the new and revised statements.

If the User disagrees with any of the statements after an order has already been placed, the order will be shipped (unless cancelled on time) and the Company will cease any communication with the User. Any further contact from the User or the Company will be deemed as first contact, and the User will be handled as a new customer. The User is assumed to have understood that they (the User(s)) forgoes any rights to full service, and that the Company cannot guarantee full service, if the Privacy Policy is not accepted in full.

How The User’s Information Is Collected

The Company collects certain information from the User that can be categorized as either Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or Non- Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII). PII refers to information that, either as standalone information or when coupled with other details, can be used to trace your identity, contact you, or determine your home address. As an example, Internet Protocol (IP) address is considered as Non-PII, as it provides your general location and Internet Service Provider (ISP), but provides no details about your exact location.

Non PII is collected either through the User’s activity on the Site, through cookies, or aggregate information that is automatically collected. This information includes, but may or may not be limited to:

  • User traffic information, such as time spent on a page, on the website, etc.
  • Landing and exit pages, as well as most page visited.
  • IP address, ISP, date, time, and location.
  • Bounce rate, bounce ratio, clicks per minute, number of clicks, and additional website data.

On the other hand, any PII information collected by the Company, through the User directly or through third parties, includes but may or may not be limited to the following:

  • Your name.
  • Your email.
  • Your phone number.
  • Your location.
  • Your banking information.

All information collected is stored only if necessary. All banking information and other sensitive data is handled with strong network encryption protocols as well as being automatically removed or deleted after the transaction is complete. Only information that you save – such as ticking the “Save Payment Information” box might keep your credit/debit card number saved – but your three-digit security code will not be saved regardless of circumstance, and must be entered every time the page or payment window is refreshed or reloaded.

How The User’s Information Is Used
All Non-PII collected by the Company is used for the following purposes:

  • To improve the Site for all pages visited.
  • To optimize the most visited page(s) to improve performance and User experience.
  • To determine the most popular locations from where traffic comes to provide services unique to that specific user base.
  • To determine the busiest or high-traffic hours to apply bandwidth, server power and other resources to mitigate potential issues in high load times.
  • To optimize resource usage for maximum efficiency, so that resources allocated are not wasted.
  • To provide advertiser information, advertisements, and other marketing material.
  • To gather aggregate data on the Site and User traffic.Advertising information and Site preferences, as well as User settings are stored on Cookies, which are tiny packets of data stored on your local machine.

PII data collected by the Company is used for the following purposes:

  • To provide services and products.
  • To provide delivery services to the User’s home address.
  • To provide e-commerce services on the website.
  • To enable payments and online orders.
  • To enable personalized website preferences.
  • To save User information and provide quality-of-life features.

The User’s Rights
All the User’s rights are protected under the General Data Protection Regulation as well as the California Consumer Privacy Act. Residents within the United States will have their rights protected under the CCPA, while the GDPR rights will apply to residents in Europe, Canada, and other regions where judicially applicable.
