Small farmers in Kintamani on the lovely island of Bali, Indonesia, grow this organic coffee in volcanic loam soil, and it is hand-picked there. Before they are roasted, the beans are blue. They go through a special wet-hulling procedure, then are dehydrated on raised beds. Only in Indonesia is “wet hulling” a common practise due to the country’s hot, humid weather. The procedure highlights the body of the coffee while reducing its acidity.
All of our flavored coffees start as specialty grade single origin coffee roasted in small batches to a smooth medium. Each order is then carefully flavored with high quality flavoring oils while still warm.
