This Peruvian coffee is Fair Trade, Organic, and hand-picked by a limited co-op of farmers in Piura, Amazonas. It is grown in clay mineral oil. The coffee is thoroughly cleaned, or wet-processed, and then exposed to the sun to dry. Coffee from Peru is typically very creamy with a hint of toffee, caramel, and a mild citrus acidity. In the Andes Mountains, at very high elevations, coffee is grown in Peru. A coffee produced at this exceptional altitude has a nice medium body, a light sweetness, and a vibrant, effervescent snap.
All of our flavored coffees start as specialty grade single origin coffee roasted in small batches to a smooth medium. Each order is then carefully flavored with high quality flavoring oils while still warm.
